| Phil, we get 57 secs, perhaps they are friends? Perhaps they are drunks unknown to each other? Not enough info to know whatever.

| Only fails to make sense if you try and read too deeply into the psychological dynamics of it. Apart from only have 57 seconds of footage, they're drunk...and Russian.
Who the fuck knows.
However, sunglasses did seem to me to be the first one to 'go'. |

| allow me...ahem, they're russian. thank you thank you, i'll be taking questions all week from my live radio show. i was surprized he pulled that slam out of his ass--the initial borage was a windmilling landslide. i'd say the bloke standing wasn't as drunk as one might think. perhaps not even the bloke sitting. i'd pin it on being buzzed and dumb as dingleberries. the courage, painlessness, and speed spell out a nice buzz...not the 3 sheets to the wind shit faced level of alcoholism i've come to know and love. love that the matey sitting doesn't do shit--i'd say they at least know of each other, if not know each other well. matey tugs on his jacket to mock him, then has to look non-challent about the turn around. not wanting more of the same. which brings me to my ongoing point--WHY WOULD ANYONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND EVER VACATION IN RUSSIA. my dad went there and needed an ex KGB bodyguard, it's the wild wild west, it's the land of pirates, it's shit on a stick. it has a long history of people tough or broken, and many stories of cannabilism in the outskirts. in a word--EEK!!! that said, i ALWAYS enjoy a good russian daft fight vid--never falls short of mindless ape-fighting...best not to place too much meaning in it though _________________ EVERYTHING YOU THINK YOU OWN...OWN'S YOU LET GO...OF EVERYTHING

| There is that cracking knockout though where the guy in the black leather jacket KTFO the other guy with a single right hander. It's not all doom and gloom.
We discussed this recently in a Humour thread actually, I think the only thing that made us want to go to Russia was the women, and even then they don't personally for me. _________________ Aggression can compensate for confidence but not for competence. |

| I'm going to make an assumption that the guy that got hit but ultimately prevailed has some grappling in his past because a double leg takedown especially as a defence is most unusual outside of wrestling or jui-jits-judo. I would expect wild swinging, a clinch & standard upright wrestling, but a double leg? That seems unusual to me. I know the guy who tried it on me must have done something in the past to learn it. |

I know I've heard it here before.... but that was rather descriptive and I enjoyed that, For that I thank you. I might even be starting to get it.
When talking to a Russian on transport, be prepared for an senseless act of aggression that may require some violence. Immediately followed by a youtube video and further discussion on a SD forum somewhere on the planet.
In all seriousness, I've seen the comments and positions of many here in regards to Russians. Half the time I think it's just kidding around, but now, maybe not so much.

| My first thought when seeing the guy standing up was that they are bringing out a new dvd "homosexuals gone wild". |

I was a little surprised as well to be honest. Wether it worked in his favour is a bit debateable though I think._________________ Aggression can compensate for confidence but not for competence. |

| I thought much the same as you Matt. And also the same as Russ - surprise that he managed to turn the situation around after receiving those blows to the noggin |
